Decorative & Colored Concrete

The look of stone, slate, brick, or wood — in durable colored concrete.

Decorative & Colored Concrete in McMurray, PA

Decorative concrete is where Curbscapes does its best work. Stamped patterns — wood plank, slate, cobblestone, ashlar stone — combined with integral color and color hardeners give you the look of premium materials with the strength and low maintenance of a single concrete pour.

We use decorative finishes on patios, driveways, walkways, pool decks, and borders. During your free design consultation we'll show you pattern and color combinations and help you pick a finish that fits your home. Every decorative surface we pour is sealed to lock in the color against sun, salt, and Pittsburgh winters.

Decorative & Colored Concrete Questions

What is stamped concrete?

Stamped concrete is freshly poured concrete that is colored and then textured with rubber pattern stamps so the finished surface looks like stone, slate, brick, or wood. You get the appearance of premium materials with the durability, lower cost, and low maintenance of a solid concrete slab.

Does stamped concrete fade or wear out?

The color is in and on the concrete itself, so it doesn't peel like paint. Resealing every two to three years keeps the color rich and protects the texture from freeze–thaw damage and deicing salts.

Is stamped concrete slippery?

The stamped texture itself adds grip, and a non-slip additive can be mixed into the sealer for pool decks, steps, and other wet areas.
